Attempted scam by widower
On june 24, 2019. I was contacted by a POF member who said his boss saw my profile and wanted me to email him.
I did. Two weeks later, after words of love and everything else I wanted to hear, he sends me the website to his company. It was full of typos and misrepresentation. He was a blue eyed white guy with a jamaican accent.
He said he lived in Trinidad. He wanted me to visit him and his little girl, I have pictures of the two of them, they are probably stolen but I figured it out before that was done. His so called worker disappeared immediately after the introduction. He has my email, his is dennis.lauren324@***.com.
His work website is dennisconstructions.us. It looks impressive to the untrained eye, it is full of typos and grammatical errors.
Other POF men warned me that there are scam artists on their. I should have listen.
I didn't cost me anything except a 3 month membership that I will delete.
Guess I will try to meet someone the old fashioned way. I only blame myself for being lonely and in need of attention...but NOT that kind of attention.

POF hacking?
I went through my boyfriend's phone and found he had screenshot a conversation on POF and in his call history it shows that he's been calling the same number from the girl on POF. He said he was hacked and that POF sent a bot to make it appear he was calling her.
So apparently POF had went through his phone to have him call her and POF went through and carried on full conversations in his text messages outside of the app. I asked him why he's wearing the necklace I bought him in his profile pic and he said that pic goes through your phone's gallery and automatically uploads new pictures.
He said it helps POF keep people interested in the app. I'm getting called all kinds of crazy for not believing him.

Because you ARE nuts to believe this. A screenshot needs to be made physically by using buttons on the sides of the phone, usually a combination of the power and volume button held down at the same time. You caught your boyfriend cheating and now you'll believe anything in order to not have to admit that he WAS actually cheating.
