My 90 yr old father has be conned and scammed out of over $70,000.00 from the trolls on this site who prey on the senior citizens who still have a trust in people. He now is bankrupt financially,mentally and emotionally thanks to Plenty of fish and their fine female members..

Just had the exact same thing happen. Count set up with my gmail address without a confirmation email being sent. I reset the password and changed it, but no response from POF about why they allow this to happen

This dude is clearly not the sharpest tool in the shed. Anyone with half a brain already knows that these sites are desperately short of females, so any creature that identifies as female-ish instantly outranks any obese dyslexic guy. Or three of them.

I am a female and was just deleted by POF for no reason. I see Mens profiles on there who have more then 1 profile up at a time and Pof does nothing! Most men on there are NOT looking for a relationship like Pof claims! I bet if you pay for upgrades that they won't delete your account! Pof is not a good dating site!

This is not the first time someone contacted me that was probably a hacker! This mans name is Mark Wilson from Albany he wanted my email address and I told him I'd rather write on POF for a while before giving him that info and he blocked me!! You can read our messages I told him I was hacked once and twice guys wanted money..I didn't tell him that, but it did happen! It bothers me that he would block me..I'm a very innocent woman just trying to meet a nice man! Then there's a man his handle on POF is MachMan who is into S&M and he was really weird and he has blocked me...because I wouldn't drive to him and let him whip me!!! Come on! These guys shouldn't be aloud on here! It's not fair to those of us that are serious. Please look into both of these men. Mark Wilson is on there under his own name! Mark Wilson has been emailing and texting me until I told him his messages were coming in @ 5 AM etc, He send a message that I am sure he is CC to any female that gives me the time of day, I suspected he was a scammer when I requested more photos of him, and his improper use of English, not to mention after his second message he told me to delete my POF account for he was doing the same~~ seriously? Only I decided to play along with this *** I replied back to a message from him on POF funnthoughtprocess is the profile he used to contact me~~ and he asked me for my phone number and email address I knew this guy cant keep up with who he is scamming~~ be thankful you figured him out~~ he is a loser and probably not even Mark Wilson 64 from Albany NY~~ good luck~~

Probably for same reason as I was Markus kept trying to critique whom I am as a personality. She was like a third person on a date critiquing my personality .When in fact she was the RUDE person involved !...? Markus the creator of POF constant critiqued my personality I found that offensive and gave feedback and said Please stop trying to put me into your type of mold! I am 64 years old I need no chaperone! Please , allow me to communicate how I want not to more like Markus mold .She deleted my account and called me Rude behavior when in fact she was the rude person not me I found one woman there I was very pleased with BDavis but was banned from sending her a message because I did not meet Markus's mold as a human

I Got kicked off the site!

I have meet and still have some good Lady E-mail Friend's that I met on that site. I have all-so Talked to many Mean Women Who Don't have Anything to show in Life that are just Mean! So I told one off. And than I'm banned. I Thought that I had the freedom of saying the way thing's are By telling the Truth? Many Women are in some sort of Relationship and are just trying to see what's out there. I have been single for 13 Year's and work My *** off and pay My bill's on time! I live alone and only Date one Lady at a time and put My Heart and soul into a Friend. But when a Friend is a player and I spot B.S. That is not good!

I been a loyal pof follower for a few years, and have told others about it, and have talked to and met a few women. I have never even sent a pic over that site, had made a few women friends on there, just chat friends. I was on pof on a Friday, then when I went to get back on it on sunday 2 days later it told me my info wasn't correct, so tried my email addy and everything and it said it wasn't in their data base. Now Ive lost contact with a few good friends I made there, and one woman I was talking to and we were gonna be meeting soon. POF never messaged me about any problem or someone complaining about me to maybe get my side if that was the case, or let me know they were deleting me. They are MAN or WOMAN enough to face people and tell them theres a problem. I think some of this is because some of the user names are so much alike that they get the wrong name from someone complaining or whatever and never are polite enough to check things out. There are usually 2 sides to every story, but I guess the all mighty POF things their u know what don't stink. Well they wont get me back ever, and Im gonna try and talk every single person I told about pof that's on there to get off and pass the word around about how they are and the things they do that affect peoples lives. I think we that get removed deserve to know why, but maybe they don't know. POF WHAT A JOKE Maybe we all need to do a class action suit against them, maybe getting in their pockets might get their attention.

Same thing happened to me after 4 yrs. I had a date with someone who I didn't end up liking so,maybe she complained.

All I know is I only met less than 6 women on that site and there are plenty of losers so I'm not upset about it. You get what you pay for.

I'm on Match now and I get to meet a better quality of woman with higher education and no trailer parks. *** POF (Plenty of Flakes)

And the complaint is usually filed by a link on the member's profile, so unlikely it was about someone else mistaken for you. POF accepts complaints as ultimate truth.
