Auto change pswrd

This is the second time that out of nowhere my password was changed. Even with the password reset sent to my email still it couldn't be fixed. My assumption is they block u out to use our pictures. Even if u explain use of pictures without consent is a crime they do it. But why shouldn't they. Who do we complain to? Nice system of gov :-( no contract un signed in person is not valid. whether or not they include it, it isn't valid. I.e. am i drunk, is it really me, am i competent of making that decision...?

Account Deleted

I've had a pof account for less than 2 days. In that time I had about a dozen women show some interest in my profile. Then my profile was suddenly deleted. Registered again and this time I was deleted in less than a day. I have sent several emails to their customer services asking why I have been deleted with no response. I was never rude, never uploaded or sent any nude pictures. Really can't understand the logic behind their deletion policy. Is it because I was too successful? Maybe I was stealing somebody's thunder. It's a shame their don't even have the decency to explain why they have deleted my account. The only plus is I exchanged numbers with one of the women and have arranged to meet up.

Maybe you were deleted for exchanging phone numbers, which is against their T&C.

Lucky you. I was chatting to a nice man but hadn't had chance to exchange email or phone numbers...now will never know as I too cant get back on. I didn't break the rules either and had been a member in the past with no problems

Hey Marcus! why are you telling your workers in meetings not to save any money? I do agree. I was on this site for 6 months and they do have a double standard.

How come women can get away by taking a picture with the middle finger showing and some of them dress kinda sleezy. ***, you can see their breast. Now I have to login with a different name and try to find these people again.

Thank I do have their number. Think Marcus need to leave this company and have another person take over.

Plentyoffish is a joke

There are so many things you are not allowed to do on the site. They just randomly delete your account, they never tell you how you violated the so called terms of service. The Site is a joke. There is a block member part on plenty of fish so if someone complains about you they should just block you I am a normal guy looking for a friend, a lover, and hopefully more a writer and poet, this is not the first time the bozos as plenty of fish randomly just deleted my profile without any notice or warning. The site sucks, you send a bunch of messages and get one or two responses. Is it wrong on plenty of fish to be a writer and poet looking for someone. Just total Garbage. You lose lost time and energy

Plenty of fish Free, but UPGRADE $ is 189 year

36% of the shown profiles have dropped off 2-8 years ago, but POF never cleans out inactive users. 1 out of 3 has been gone more than 2-8 years. plenty of fish starts you off FREE, then you see you have limited services. The so-called UPGRADE $189 PEOPLE get first at top of searches,only they can see when someone was on line last, and the SHOW button works for these UPGRADE VIP's. WE are the little bottom feeders. the UPGRADE Club are the sharks--we are just minnows for decoration. it is so obvious this Canadian Goose Marcus, built a membership role 8 years ago because it was free to join. Now he has a lot of 2-8 years gone profiles and gone pics, so it looks like he can make bucks with advertsing and VIP club Upgraders. for every 10 people, 2.008 are still active (survey 2/12/13 random survey of 1,800 listed people - 1,000 photo profiles/ only 208 on line since Feb.08.2011. 8 out of 10..have not been back on for more than 2 -to- 8 years.

Markus has no right to dictate who we can/cannot chat with

My profile was deleted not once..but twice because apparently it is against the Gods for me to either send or receive messages to any man who is either more than 14 years my junior or 14 years older (not that this older restriction bothered me). Markus is nothing but a dictator and probably suffering from small peni$ syndrome. Perhaps it's his inability to fulfil his desires that has led him to become such a bitter person. In this day and age of free speech I am appalled that I would be scrutinized by one person who feels he can make decisions for the rest of us..or at the very least sit back and judge us for the decisions that we are making. I don't see what the problem is. If an 18-year old woman doesn't want to receive messages from a 50-year old man, all she has to do is to review her profile and adjust her mail messages to not receive messages from 50-year old (or any age) men.

Marcus apparently doesn't believe 18-year old women are mature enough to make that decision on their own. He should raise the membership age to 21.

POF is a sex site, make no mistake. Guys are shown a "Hottest Girls" category.

But now POF has dictated new rules like a 60 year old cannot contact a 45 year old. Women can send private pictures, men can not. Plus worse than that, deleted profiles crop up weeks later. People complain about getting deleted.

What about when you voluntarily delete your profile and months later it reappears but you have no access.

If you look good your pictures will show up elsewhere. It is a site that cannot be trusted.

I think the changes to POF that Markus has made are great. Some people who are on POF now should sign up on a sex site.

They are giving POF a bad name with bad behaviour and thus giving everyone on the site cause for concern.

I'm never rude or crude, and have had a couple of good relationships stemming from POF with younger women.

Sont allow me to delete

I want to delete my account without being forced to fill out a survey. I am frustrated with this company and have no interest i have attempted on numerous occasions to delete my account and all efforts have been unsuccessful I am prepared to contact the attorney general office in NY as well as lawyers to look into class action law suits. If I want to delete my account I have a right to do so without taking a survey and the company putting loopholes into my efforts to do so!!! If I choose to leave its my right without any explanation nor difficulties implemented my said company!!

POF broke their own terms of service

Plenty of Fish.com, a dating website that I chose to pay for for extra features, broke their own terms of service one day after charging $81 to my card. No refunds! POF has a self-stated "zero tolerance policy" about posting certain types of pictures. Mine were consistent with their terms of service, just regular pictures, but they disabled my account pictures anyway, a violation of their own terms of service. I'd estimate their willful act of removing the picture service from my membership is a loss of about 75% of their level of service. A dating website where no pictures can be posted is useless. There goes my $81.

POF, according to a former user, discovered that the company has another dating site call, "simla" for selling sex. People are lured to the site by photos of members from its POF (plentyoffish.com) dating site. You can read it yourself, about the 40th post down, here:

Stop receiving emails for no reason

I receive new POF emails for several months with new prospects and then suddenly now (May 2013) I don't get them appearing in my email. My email address is crld413@***.com. I have an established account and wish to receive weekly emails, so why do they suddenly stop? My name is Renee LeDonne, 201A Windgate Cir, Monroe, CT 06468. Cannot access my account.

I tried to log in to answer some mail and my account would not accept my password. When I tried to have it sent to me they said they had no record of my email address. I explained what happened to the Help, but I have not gotten a reply. It has been two days. I have contacted them several times but I have not gotten any response what so ever. What bothers me is I have been notified through my email that I have messages, but I can't log in. I have even contacted them for an explanation and asked them to reply to a different email address, but that did not work. No one can explain what happened to my account. I am really pissed

They can get your ip address. With modern website technology they can also tell what device you are onwhether it's a mobile or a pc.

They probably log about 4 or 5 things unique to your device. Most likely serial number or MAC address. These people are deleting profiles on purpose with automated routines that do not discriminate.

If you are a man and a woman complains about you on there, you get deleted, get blocked too many times deleted, copy paste messages deleted, create your profile too fast because you copy and paste or just type real fast deleted. There fake profiles with links to adult content, those don't get deleted because people click those and that click generates ad revenue.

I want upgrade my account for three money and plenty offish took out money for one year membership.so now I want all money return to my account and close my account.i do not want to be associated with a company that steal people's money I WISH THAT I WOULD HAVE READ ALL OF COMPLAINTS THAT WRITTEN ABOUT THIS COMPANY FIRST.this is not the only company that uses the same tactic when trying to order one item and they change you for something a lot more.no phone number to contact anybody to make a complaint or to make resolution.

i have tried to make a profile on pof and i fill out all my stuff and its not something that just takes a couple of seconds to do. when i get done i get an emaile saying your new acount is made, so i then go to pof to sign in and it tell me my password or user name isnt good so i hit forgot password just incase i entered something else on mistake and it tells me my email is not in there database. but yet they send me a email saying it is. pof needs to just stop trying to get people together. markus is a *** ***
