or my pass word, so what do I do? says my email is not valid, some

one is using my username and changed my password even tried to open an new account, it want let me, what do I do to get another account, I do have some very nice ladies on here that I was talking with, now I can't get back in touch with them, plenty of fish should have a way that people could let them know about their account being hacked, so plenty of fish must not care about it's users, but I have tried now for a week, can not

find any help from plenty of fish, so hoping this will help me, i would be

much appreciated if I could get back on site so I can talk with my friends,

thanks

My pof account was hacked. Since my password has been changed how do I delete this account.

No longer will be using this website. Took all measures to keep account secure.

Apparently it's super common to get hacked. Its super embarrassing and POF does not care. You will loose all your contacts and be forced to start a new account.

If you do manage to find your old contacts, they will most likely think you your a scammer after getting emails from your old account. Cant blame them since there are so many scammers and hackers on this website

I was hacked today. I can't find a number or a working POF email.

It was shut off for years and I have NO IDEA who updated it.

They changed my email so I can't get in! This is a nightmare.

Pof wont give your your account back not let you on to delete your hacked profile. Your contacts will be lost and you have to start all over.

It's common to get hacked, even if you are taking extreme measures to protect yourself. It's a bad website and should be avoided .

The email address to report your issue to is CSR@PlentyofFish.com, but just consider your profile gone and lost. All they will do is "stop the bleeding", and delete it for you. At least the emails coming into your inbox announcing that you have new messages will cease.

they may not even do that, cause the hacker changed the email, they say I am not the owner of the profile...even though I have a ton of xxxx(bots) want to meet you emails

had this happen to me (Sat 10/12)..someone hacked and "updated" my info..the notification was sent to the spam folder (cause POF sends so many mass emails) and I only saw it this morning (10/14)..too late to save my account so far...it's likely already been deleted for spamming by POF, but I contacted them anyway around 11a,, only received the high volume email (Likely they were hacked and a bunch of user/pass were stolen causing the high volume) I didn't have a lot of personal info listed, but did have a few contacts I was keeping up with...

I emailed csr@pof.com about 20 mins ago - this is a working email for POF. I used it in June 2018 when I was hacked the FIRST time...

yeah, I'm the dummy who went back on the site after 15 months off of it, and got hacked within a week. Anyway, this was the reply a few mins ago... high volume, yeah no *** based on the replies on this thread alone.... I have not had such issues with OKC, Bumble, Tinder....

ever. Thanks so much for contacting Plenty of Fish! We're currently experiencing a high volume of emails, but the team is working hard to get back to you as soon as possible. If you are contacting us about payments, please make sure you're sending us an email from the email address registered to your Upgraded Plenty of Fish account.

If you haven't already seen it, we also have frequently asked questions lists that might be able to help while you wait.

You can find it here: http://www.plentyoffish.com/HelpCenter/helpcenter_faq.aspx Thanks for your patience! The Plenty of Fish Team

Just have the SAME issue and I am trying to e-mail this: csr@pof.com That is the only contact I can find. They won't let you e-mail the otherwise unless you are logged on which is *** I know I won't be paying for this service.

Terrible that they have no better way to contact for help.

I have not even downloaded anything. How on earth did I get hacked?

I just emailed that same email since I had it on file from when I was hacked in June 2018. Some woman stole my profile, and just swapped her pics for mine.

But I was able to access the account, change the password, and then delete the whole thing... and that's why I left POF.

I just returned last week, and now this... pathetic security and support.

If you are a paid account your credit card or PayPal will have the correct phone number for plenty of fish. This happened to me and I called the number that was on my credit card bill and they helped me get the hacker out of my account

Just to share my experience of being hacked on POF and the messages from me to POF regarding this as they were very blasé about it which has put me off online dating as per below, also to add that nothing was resolved apart from I lost my POF profile which nothing was done about and I've had to change all my passwords re bank accounts and others:- I sent this 2 weeks around 23/08/2019 prior to POF responding and had to keep emailing csr@plentyoffish.com for a response. I log on around once a week to my POF account due to work commitments.

The last time I logged into my account to check my messages was on the 01/09/2019 as Sunday is normally the one day, I choose to log in. On Monday 02/09/2109 and Tuesday 03/09/2109 I received over 200 emails from POF to let me know that I had received messages from certain users, I thought it seemed an awful lot but did not have the time to log into my POF account to check properly as I had to go to work. On the 04/092019 a friend of mine contacted me as they had seen what looked like my profile but with someone else's images in place of mine, so all the information on my profile including the write-up about me was exactly the same as mine with my images removed and someone else's put in place. I became rather concerned at this and when I arrive home from work I decided to log into my POF account using my username as above with my password to no avail and then I tried logging in using my email as above with my password, which once again to no avail, it kept stating the details did not match as I had not changed either my username, email or password I was astounded I was unable to log in.

It appears I no longer am able to log into my account and my profile no longer under my control to view, change and reply / send messages. I can only assume my POF account has been hacked into and someone else is now using all my details including any payment facilities I used on POF when I paid for Tokens and someone could now use which I'm most concerned about and would implore POF to look into this immediately please as a matter of urgency as I'm very concerned my personal details have been compromised and are being used by someone who isn't me? A copy of what was on my profile are attached including my personal images for your perusal, which as stated above is the same profile but my images have been replaced with someone else’s. Please could this matter also be passed to Mr Markus Frind CEO as he should be made aware?

I look forward to hearing from you regarding this extremely urgent matter. csr@plentyoffish.com Sat 07/09/2019 19:03 Hello, Thank you for taking the time to email POF.com. Your account was flagged and closed for suspicious activity. We apologize for the inconvenience, but you will need to create a new account.

Please wait 2-3 hours before trying to create a new account, and ensure you select a new username AND password. As your account has been compromised, we suggest you do the following: 1) Scan your computer for viruses or spyware. 2) Once you have completed your scan, immediately change your passwords for *ALL* online accounts including your POF.com account, Email accounts, online banking, etc. We appreciate your patronage, and hope you register a new account with Plentyoffish.

Regards, Marcel R POF Team POF.com Sun 08/09/2019 17:22 csr@plentyoffish.com As my account has been compromised through no fault of mine, I would suggest from a legal stance that POF do more to protects its customers rather than putting them at risk especially of identity theft, putting peoples bank accounts at risk and all sorts of other fraudulent activity that is susceptible. As this is such a serious matter it really does need bringing to the attention of the CEO Mr Markus Frind to deal with. Kind regards, Sue. csr@plentyoffish.com Mon 09/09/2019 21:49 Hello, Thank you for taking the time to email POF.com.

We have investigated the issue you reported, and it appears to have been resolved.

Please let us know if you continue to have difficulties and we would be happy to assist you further. Regards, POF Team POF.com

I was hacked, but still able to login. Woke up to a ton of messages and haven’t used POF for months.

Hacker had new pictures, changed first name, everything else the same. Sent message to everyone hacker was chatting with that they were speaking to a hacker. Then I deleted my account.

Unable to find contact info for POF anywhere, I reached out to them on Facebook and let them know there was a breach. Won’t ever use that site again.
